A Special Thanks!

     Oh, God is so good.

Jacob and I are amazed at His grace, mercy, love, and support.  Our fundraiser was a success beyond our expectations!  We want to thank each and every person that came to support, donate, help, and those that have and are continuing to pray for us.  Our goal for this fundraiser was to raise enough for our assessment center in March ($400) and if at all possible enough for our passports.  Well, the Lord did one better than that!  He more than tripled our $400 goal...my initial response...blessed, shocked, amazed, in awe, and thankful.

And then I realized only something like the result of last night can come from our amazing God.

We want to give up our lives to Christ and serve as He desires.  He has so graciously paved that path for us, and because the Holy Spirit has moved in all of you we can start this wonderful life that Christ deserves.

"But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this?  Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand" (1Chron. 29:14).

Again, many thanks to all that served, donated, and prayed.  We ask for continued prayer...pray that the Spirit continues to move us, form us, break our human hearts for what His Holy heart aches for.  Pray for our financial support-both now and in the future.  Pray that the distractions of this world are muffled by the desires of the Holy Spirit.  And please pray the God will make our destination clear-we are still not sure if He wants us serving in Ivory Coast or Ethiopia.  We are completely humbled by everyones generosity and as always amazed by our Lord and Savior.

Blessed Beyond Measure

I feel abundantly blessed today.  I have an inner joy that only Christ can bring.  I know that He wants me to shout it to the mountain tops- this joy I have is for all.  Strip me away of all that I have, and the joy of eternal salvation and a Savior that loves me more than anything possible remains.  This is why I feel blessed....Lord, I want everyone that enters this world to experience the love that Christ gives.  I want everyone to know that this world shall pass...its a blink of an eye.  I want to worship Jesus Christ with every breath of this life given to me.  My heart breaks for those with no hope....Holy Spirit move me to spread Your Gospel.  Abundantly blessed is an understatement....

Love, love these words to this Aaron Shust song:

I wait for You and my soul finds rest

In my selfishness, You show me grace

I worship You and my heart cries Glory

Hallelujah

Father You're here

Happy Birthday Logan Scott Lowe

Happy Birthday Logan Scott Lowe!
3 years ago you were born!! I just can't believe its been three years already.
You have grown into such the tender hearted little boy.  I love watching your moments of kindness and compassion towards loved ones.
You have quite the ability of putting others before yourself, and I absolutely love that about you.
I love our cuddling ("cuwwing") each morning; the way your face lights up making everyone around you smile, I love the inner joy you have and your frequent questions to people to see if they love God.

I love to watch you adore your father, imitate, play with, wrestle, learn from, love.
I love that each and everyday God has blessed me with being your mother-to help mold you into a Jesus-loving individual.

I remember this picture being so overwhelming to me.....I thought, wow, a family of FOUR!

You, my son, will do great things. You are dearly loved.
I pray that I will never forget this cherished season of life with you and the rest of our family.
